Tracey Kelly & Jason Sidwell

Tracey & Jason Bio

Tracey Kelly's sensous vocals join with Jason Sidwell's tasty guitar to create a melodic song set, blending originals with the best tunes from film, pop, jazz and soul. Together they cook up a unique arrangements with a sumputous vibe.

As well as singing and songwriting with indie-pop bands Venus Eleven and Rosebud, Tracey does live and recording session work and has also lent vocals to music as diverse as swing bands and live film soundtracks.. She has sung with amazing pianists Robin Aspland and Nikki Iles among others. As well as writing songs, she also composes music for film and art.

Jason's sensational guitar playing is grounded in classical training and enhanced by his love of playing many styles, from jazz and funk, to rock, pop and musicals. He has sessioned in the UK, Europe and Far East before joining with Tracey to form the duo. Jason can also be heard playing in funk/R'n'B band Bad Hands, and is a performer and funk guitar tutor with the IGF.
